PARKER BROS. A RARE 12-BORE HALF-FRAME 'DHE' MODEL BOXLOCK EJECTOR GUN, NO. 241797 28-inch barrels with 2 3/4-inch chambers, about 1/4 and 3/4 choke borings, machined rib with doll's head extension, the frame and top lever with scroll engraving around scenes of game and dogs, retaining some original hardening colour, 15-inch well figured stock with pistol grip including 2-inch extension with skeleton heel plate, 7lb. 2oz., nitro proof, fore-end wood broken and repaired S2 The rare 'half-frame' 12-bore was produced after Remington took control of Parker in 1934 and it is speculated that just a few hundred examples were built before production ended. The vendor states that the gun was acquired during the Second World War from Major France. |
