The gun has a number of interesting patent features, notably the grip safety, the Purdey under bolt and thumb lever, as well as the Parson's patent barrels. The action flat is stamped W & C Scott, castle trademark and the breeches have pieces dove-tailed in, indicating a pinfire conversion. left barrel wall thickness below recommended minimum |
