6-inch octagonal barrel engraved "H. Wayne 57 Regt", the frame, cylinder and loading lever with scroll engraving and retaining much original finish, chequered walnut grip, black powder proof, in its fitted mahogany case with mould, flask, etc, the escutcheon engraved "H Wayne Much Wenlock 57th Regt"
The pistol was purchased by Lt Col Wayne for service in the Crimea.
