The rifle retains much original finish and appears little used. Its Mauser serial number (91) and action date indicate that this is one of the earliest rifles built in the classic model 98 action. Retailed by John Rigby & Co., who were Mauser's English agent, the rifle retains all of its distinct Mauser features. |
